All are welcome!
Each service celebrates Holy Communion. Each service includes a special chidren's message. Children of all ages are welcome in worship services, and a staffed nursery is available for those who choose to use it. Sunday School for children age 3 through adult is at 9:15 am each Sunday between Labor Day and Memorial Day. Many services include special music by one of Salem's choirs or puppet team. |
Monthly puppet skits and songs enhance offerings for children as well as adults. |
ALL WHO ARE BAPTIZED and believe that Christ is present in the Sacrament are invited to commune. Come by way of the center aisle. Pastor and assistants will distribute the wafer and a choice of either wine or grape juice for you to intinct (dip) the wafer or a common cup to drink. When you have communed, return to your seat by the side aisles. |
Children are welcome in Salem worship services and included in special ways. Pastor plans a few minutes each week to introduce a faith theme or concept, teach faith practices, or involve the children in sendings, blessings, and celebrations.
